About Jean

 

Hi, my name is Jean Venne. I am 38 years old, and the proud mother of a little girl.  After the birth of my daughter, I made the decision to leave my position as a Chef, and follow my dream of starting my own home childcare.  I was born and raised in Hartington, Nebraska.  Being the middle child of 10 siblings, I have always been around children and enjoyed caring for them.  While attending Culinary School, I met my husband Chris, and knew he was “the one” we were married in 2005 and bought a house in Lincoln.  For many years I  worked as a chef, but when our daughter was born, I knew it was the right time to make a change, and pursue a new and rewarding chapter in our lives.  In fall 2014 we completed construction on our new home and larger daycare facility in southwest Lincoln.

 

About Chris

Hi, my name is Chris Venne, I am 41 years old and was born and raised in Lincoln.  I am a pastry chef, and attended culinary school in Scottsdale, AZ.  I share Jean’s love of children, I am an avid gardener, and love doing projects around the house to enhance the daycare.

 

About April

April is 10 and loves helping mom out in the childcare, playing in the yard and making new friends.
